Custom decks.

Decks, stairs, and rails. We talk span, footing, and how the ledger meets the house before we talk about the color of the boards.

The details make the difference

Know what goes
into your project.

The best-looking result starts with the right materials, a thoughtful layout, and a clear scope. Here is where this service fits.

Build your project brief
01 What the job includes
  • Framing, footings, ledger, stairs, and rails
  • Cedar, treated pine, or composite decking
  • A layout that accounts for doors, grade, and where the afternoon sun actually lands
  • Rail height and baluster spacing that pass an inspection, not a catalog photo
02 A good fit for your property
  • A new deck off the back of the house
  • Replacing a soft or springy deck rather than staining over it
  • A deck that has to meet a pool coping or a patio
03 When to consider another option
  • A stain-only job on a structure we have not looked at. If the frame is gone, paint will not save it.
  • A second-story deck quoted from a photo of the yard. We have to see the wall.

A little clarity

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Composite or wood?

Composite if you do not want to restain it. Cedar if you want the grain and you will maintain it. We price both on the same footprint so the choice is about upkeep, not a surprise.

Do you pull the permit?

If the city or the HOA requires one, it is part of the job and it is on the estimate. We do not start framing and hope.
